Last summer, I was looking for a hotel in the Mactan Island area to bond with my parents who were leaving for Australia for a month. One of the pre requisites is it should be near the airport and a good place to relax to prepare them (parents) for their long haul flight.We just went to Shangrila a few weeks back so Plantation Bay Resort and Spa seemed to be the best option we had.
And it didn't disappoint.
They booked a FAMILY ROOM which was very convenient for us- a famiy of 6. We booked it for a little more than PHP 11,000.00 which was already a very good deal considering it accommodated us all comfortably. Please ecuse the mess. The family room has 1 queen size bed and 2 bunker beds.
This rate however does not include breakfast but you have an option to include breakfast for 6 for an additional discounted price of $60.00. Buffet breakfast cost $20.00/ person. Although the additional breakfast for our room was a great offer, we were mostly girls with not-so-big appetites, we ordered ala carte instead. Ala carte breakfast comes in sets for Php 450.00 a set and a pancake set for Php 250.00.

All breakfast meals comes with either fruit juice or coffee.
After a good breakfast at KIlimanjaro Cafe, we indulged in fun water activities.
Day use rate is at Php 2000.00 nett/person with set meal from 8AM to 5PM.
